Biiig eyes and silky fur – the cutest thing ever! Two little possums are living in the small pencil case at the animal rescue’s house.
Their mum was eaten or frighten by a domestic cat (no one knows the real story). Now they are all alone. And an animal lover/protector asked us to keep our cats inside especially at night. “Just lock them at home,”- she said.
And I was thinking, if we love animals, we shall look after those who needs us the most. I know that cat is dosing throughout a day, just because they are waiting for theirs “cat time” at dusk. I know that the whole cat’s nature is about freedom and self-management. And I know that they are predators too.
But if we love one cute animal over another cute animal we should prevent that Nature regulates itself, should we?

Большие глаза и удивительно пушистый мех – нет на свете ничего более очаровательного, чем маленькие беззащитные зверьки. Они живут в доме, у спасателя животных. Спасатель животных рассказывает нам историю о том, как их мама была съедена или напугана местной кошкой. Теперь они живут одни.
И если мы хотим, чтобы эти маленькие беззащитные животные перестали жить в косметичке, то нам нужно научиться запирать свою кошку на ночь дома. И не важно, что для кошки самое главное время суток – это сумерки, что свобода для них – это сущность их бытия и что они все-таки охотники по своей сути. Нам нужно разъяснить кошке разницу между мышами и опоссумами и раз и навсегда вмешаться в естественный ход природы.
