It feels for me that children and elderly people do know something about their past life.
Kids remember the past or at least they looks like “transitioning souls” from past to present. Elderly living retrospectively soaking their souls in memory and revisiting the favourite moments again and again in their minds. In other words – kids and old people are looking in one direction – in the past. We are, adults, always looking forward, in the direction of our future.
May be that’s why we feel so different from them like if we are from another planet?

Nice that it’s interest you. It feels like we really loosing a connection with elderly as we grow. And we born like old people and with a time became old again….
